Week 6 Creative Hacking, Senses, and Bodies

This week, we explored creative hacking using Arduino to build a digital system capable of sensing human body temperature. In the workshop, we attempted the "Love-o-meter" task from the Arduino starter kit. Although initially challenging, it was interesting to connect physical components and see real-time temperature data translated into digital outputs. Through the experience, we became more comfortable with Arduino code, sensor calibration, and circuit building.

From this experience, I learned the complexities of digital sensing. Sometimes, a small mistake will lead to the failure of testing. Thus, we realized the importance of patience and systematic troubleshooting. This workshop encourages us to consider both the potential and limitations of digital sensing technologies in measuring human experiences.
